Greetings & Gratitude

Blessings on Africa Inc. (BOA) is a Christian US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and related injustice in West Africa. Through a recent donation from the Foundation, BOA leaders Diane Whitcomb and Bethlehem member Eleanor Kristiansson reported that they were able to purchase vital support items for villages that BOA serves.  

Items included medical supplies and medications for the village of Agome Tomegbe; food, soap, and wound-care supplies for Akata Dzokpe Village, where many residents are living with leprosy; and clean, washable mattresses for a midwife in Kuma Apoti, so that laboring women can deliver their babies in a clean and comfortable environment. 

Receiving these items can have a huge impact on the quality of care for residents of these villages, which are often remote. In her recent letter, Diane shared, “I can’t begin to express how appreciative they were.”
