Planning Well: Estate Planning for Parents with Minor Children

It’s never too late, it’s never too early!

We all know that life can turn on a dime.  Every parent thinks about the things that will impact the future for their child.  What’s the right school?  Is this the right teacher?  Are they studying enough? Are the extra-curricular activities essential?  Can we do a fun vacation? Will they go to college?  Will there be enough money for any of these things?

But what about the BIG question?  What happens if a parent dies?  What happens if both parents die?  What happens if a single parent dies?

As part of our ongoing Planning Well education series, join us on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. on the Minneapolis Campus for a practical, supportive conversation about estate planning for parents with children under 18. Barbara Kristiansson and Sandra Anderson, Bethlehem members with estate planning experience, will cover what questions to ask and consider; where to find answers; what documents you need, and how your thoughts and plans may change as your kids grow.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or revisiting an existing plan, come take a thoughtful step toward caring for your family’s future.

A light meal will be provided with childcare available upon request when registering. Please register by November 11 and feel free to share this invite with others you know.

Sponsored by Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities and the Bethlehem Foundation

This event is offered for education and support. No fundraising requests will be made.
