Updated Gathering Space at Minnetonka
The next time you’re visiting the Minnetonka campus, be sure to stop in and visit the newly renovated Library space, made possible by a grant from the Foundation.
Similar in function to the Henderson or Langemo rooms at the Minneapolis campus, this spot is located within the fellowship space on the main floor and is a gathering hub for the church. The room can now hold groups up to 16, with smart technology for hybrid meetings, presentations, and classes.
Additionally, the space is versatile and can accommodate the needs of various groups. All the new furniture is flexible, easy to rearrange or store away—so the same space can host storytime with cushions on the floor with small children, Breakfast Club with students, or a committee meeting with in-person and remote attendees.
As Sue Lungstrom, the Minnetonka Campus Administrator, said, “The renovation of the Library has created a wonderful, inviting, comfortable new space in which we can host longtime members, Bible studies, council meetings, new-member meetings, funeral families, and so much more. We are so grateful and proud to share this space.”
